Osteoporosis Cheat Codes: How to Rebuild Your Bones

My mom has osteoporosis, and I have been digging in with her over the last year to figure out what we can do to support her body and rebuild her bones.

It seems like every woman I know over 65 has osteoporosis. There is so much misinformation out there in conventional medicine on what to do to manage this disease… things like:

🦴 Take calcium, Vit. D and Fosamax

🦴 Go for a walk

🦴 Do weight-bearing exercises

🦴 Have bone density scans every year

None of these things are going to effectively rebuild your bones.  But this is the “advice” you get from most doctors.

It has been really empowering to learn the strategies that WORK to move the needle for those diagnosed with this dis-ease!

Today, we peel the layers on osteoporosis and osteopenia with my friend Kevin Ellis, the Bone Coach™.

He shares his battle to fight what doctors predicted when they diagnosed him with osteoporosis at the age of 30.

He went on a warpath to turn the tide and rebuild his bones, successfully reversing his osteoporosis!

You’re going to learn so much in this interview with Kevin!

Unless you know how to be your own best advocate, you're gonna have a really hard time navigating and you're probably gonna make an emotionally charged decision versus an educated and informed decision.

[When] you start addressing the root cause issues of your digestive problems, that leads to healing the gut, which is going to help you improve nutrient absorption, which is obviously going to help your body and your bones heal.

Even if you're taking hormones, but you're not exercising, you're not going to see a significant impact or that great of an impact over time. So you have to be doing exercise. And, if you have to have accountability with that, or you have to have somebody else that does with you or whatever, that's great. Figure out who that person is to help guide you and stick through that with you, it's gonna be super, super important.

About Misty Williams
& Healing Rosie

Misty Williams spent years struggling to reclaim her health and vitality after surgery to remove an ovarian cyst, life-threatening complications and an endometriosis diagnosis sent her into a brain fog and fatigue tailspin.
Her doctor told her that the only remedies for her issues were drugs and surgeries, that her labs were “normal” and she could “google” to learn more about what was happening to her body.
At 35 years old, Misty embarked on the fight for her quality of life, enduring many more challenges on her road to healing, including an unexplained 45-lb weight gain, debilitating brain fog, fatigue, hypothyroidism, and premature ovarian failure.

She founded HealingRosie.com to provide high-performing women with the resources an community to successfully confront the unexpected chronic health issues that women often experienced as they age.
